Cinderella
"Have courage and be kind."
This is the moral of Cinderella's story.
The 2015 movie adaptation of this famous fairy tale showed all the elements of the original story. In the story were Cinderella, her father, her stepmother and two stepsisters, and the prince.
There was no twist to the original story. Disney remained true to the fairy tale. Unlike Ella Enchanted and Ever After (both are Cinderella adaptations), this version was very familiar. It is a delight for both children and adults alike.

As revenge, they plotted to kidnap the son of this businessman and did it all wrong. This is a hilarious film about horrible bosses. The reason why this movie is a hit is because

High and Low (Tengoku to Jigoku)
Akira Kurosawa's Tengoku to Jigoku (High and Low) is a classic mystery and suspense film about kidnapping and extortion. The theatrics in the movie is truly impressive. The timeless plot which was loosely based from King's Ransom, and Toshiro Mifune's marvelous portrayal of Kingo Gondo makes this movie a definite must-see for film lovers.

"Life is not just about power. The one winning this fight is the one with the stronger will. If you fight to find the truth, it isn't wrong. The truth, you'll find it by looking at your own life."

Love, Rosie
Love has a special time. If it's meant to be, then it is meant to be. Love cannot work if both are not ready. For it to work, there should be proper timing. Love waits for the perfect time. If love is true, then it would just happen, like a flower waiting to bloom.
Love, Rosie is a beautiful film about friendship that blossomed into love. It is a story about two childhood friends who have kept their feelings to themselves for the fear of ruining their friendship. However, people around them notice that they bring out the best in each one. After a few failed relationships, they finally realize how they couldn't live without the other. They decided to get together and let love lead the way.

Accidental Love
Accidental Love is a weird love story between a girl with a nail in her head and a young idealistic congressman. It is a mediocre and unfinished film with little depth. However, if you would judge it on the basis of love itself, it may give you some insights about love, healthcare, and politics.
People say that falling in love is like an accident. Sometimes it happens even when you don't mean it to. Love is erratic. People sometimes fall in and out of love so fast in cases of fortune and misfortune. True love, however, is not defined by convenience. Sometimes, we have to take risks to be with the person we love. Maybe, it would take a nail in the head to wake up from the harsh reality that we're not supposed to be stuck in a relationship that isn't meant to be.
Perhaps, it's this nail (a metaphor) that makes us do crazy things for love, but makes it all worthwhile. Love is never supposed to be safe. Perhaps true love is a bit crazy sometimes.
As the movie tagline goes: Sometimes you nail love . . . sometimes it nails you.

That Thing Called Tadhana
The movie quoted a line from F.Scott Fitzgerald's The Sensible Thing, "There are all kinds of love in the world, but never the same love twice."
This quote has been the main plot of the story. If you think about it, there are many kinds of loves - unconditional, platonic, romantic, friendship and many more. That Thing Called Tadhana is a very realistic movie about heartaches, broken relationships and the art of letting go. Love has its lessons. We either learn from it or let history repeat itself. I seldom recommend local films but I absolutely think that this is a film worth watching.
